Newborn Konlee---West Michigan Natural Light Newborn Photographer

I am so glad that Heather decided to go ahead and have a newborn session for her baby girl Konlee. Normally I would say any baby over 3 weeks is too old for a newborn session and Konlee was 7 weeks when she came to the studio. I knew we wouldn't be able to bend and pose her like a brand new baby but we HAD to try! Konlee is still so tiny (barely 7lbs at 7 weeks) and has such a sweet little face. She stole my heart during our session together and you can see from the pictures how in love her parents are.

Little Landon---West Michigan Natural Light Infant Photographer

I met Landon's mom when she came for a maternity session last summer and I got to meet Landon for a quick session when he was first born so I was excited when his mom scheduled a family session now that he is around 6 months old. It is always so exciting to see how babies have grown/changed and to witness their budding personalities.

I first met Kristen about 9 months ago while I was working with another photographer and instantly fell in love with her family. You can just tell when you have met great parents, you can see it in how happy the kids are :) Kristen contacted me about doing a maternity session for this baby and I am so glad that she decided to GO FOR IT. Happy 1st Birthday Jonathan---West Michigan Natural Light Newborn and Child Photographer

I have been photographing Jonathan since he was 3 months old and he came to the studio for his First Birthday/Cake Smash session last week...it was both wonderful and bittersweet to see him that day. I knew once his First Birthday session came and went that I wouldn't see him every 3 months anymore. We always have such a relaxing time during his sessions, his mom is so nice and laid back that she just lets him be himself. Jonathan is ALL boy from his mischevious little grin to his love for his football and little race car.

There is something amazing about being chosen as a photographer ( I never think of it as "I got a job and I am going to make some money" and I try not to think of it as "I am semi inexpensive and that's why I was chosen" LOL)esp for that first year! Babies go thru TONS of changes during their first year and being hired to capture those memories is something all photographers should cherish.

Colby is on her way--West Michigan Natural Light Maternity Photographer

My cousin is expecing a baby girl at the end of the month and I am so glad she decided on getting some maternity photos done. She happens to be the farthest along that I have ever photographed (37 weeks) and she put up with all my posing demands like a champ!
Colby is currently breech so thoughts and prayers for her to turn is greatly appreciated.
