Waiting for HER --- West Michigan Natural Light Maternity Photographer

I first met Kristen about 9 months ago while I was working with another photographer and instantly fell in love with her family. You can just tell when you have met great parents, you can see it in how happy the kids are :) Kristen contacted me about doing a maternity session for this baby and I am so glad that she decided to GO FOR IT. Happy 1st Birthday Jonathan---West Michigan Natural Light Newborn and Child Photographer

I have been photographing Jonathan since he was 3 months old and he came to the studio for his First Birthday/Cake Smash session last week...it was both wonderful and bittersweet to see him that day. I knew once his First Birthday session came and went that I wouldn't see him every 3 months anymore. We always have such a relaxing time during his sessions, his mom is so nice and laid back that she just lets him be himself. Jonathan is ALL boy from his mischevious little grin to his love for his football and little race car.

There is something amazing about being chosen as a photographer ( I never think of it as "I got a job and I am going to make some money" and I try not to think of it as "I am semi inexpensive and that's why I was chosen" LOL)esp for that first year! Babies go thru TONS of changes during their first year and being hired to capture those memories is something all photographers should cherish.

Colby is on her way--West Michigan Natural Light Maternity Photographer

My cousin is expecing a baby girl at the end of the month and I am so glad she decided on getting some maternity photos done. She happens to be the farthest along that I have ever photographed (37 weeks) and she put up with all my posing demands like a champ!
Colby is currently breech so thoughts and prayers for her to turn is greatly appreciated.

Jaxon's turning ONE!!!

I hadn't met Jaxon before he came in with his mom and dad for his First Birthday/Cake smash session, but when I first laid eyes on him I knew he had style! I didn't see too many smiles that day, but he rocked his session and cake smash out of the park.

Arianna...Growing up fast. West Michigan Natural Light Child Photographer

Gosh I can't believe Arianna is 3 already. I haven't known her family for even a year but I have seen her portraits many times and whenever I look at her I just think she's so little! Arianna is a princess and had many different outfit possibilities and she looked darling in each and every one of them. We had an adventure during her session trying to keep her still for portraits, lots of energy in this little body. I look forward to all our future sessions together, enjoy your sneak.

Julian is turning ONE --- West Michigan Child Photographer

Julian is turning ONE this Saturday and his mom contacted me to photograph is first birthday/cake smash portraits. I simply love planning the decorations for these sessions. Monkey's were decided and I went ahead and chose green and brown as the colors for his cake.

Sweet Baby River--- West Michigan Newborn Photographer

I was so excited to finally meet River and her family. She was only 11 days old when she came to the studio, but I had been in contact with her mom since October and felt like I had waited for her arrival just as long as she did. She had a rough go entering this world and spent some time in the NICU but is healthy and home now. I enjoyed every minute I got to spend with her.
